Artist Statement
My body of work involves the delicate balance between imagination and the unknown. Gradation of repetitive imagery is one of the key ingredients of my creative endeavors. I break down the images to their purest forms, than continually build them back up. As the new images are rolled out across the plane, the medium repetitiously loses its initial role. Layer by layer the whole of my art becomes the sum of all the new elements introduced to the canvas. -Mads Anderson
